Child sexual abuse (CSA) remains one of the most pressing and sensitive challenges facing societies worldwide. In Türkiye, this issue is further exacerbated by cultural taboos, systemic barriers, and underreporting, which hinder effective prevention and intervention efforts. This study examines how Türkiye's centralized Early Childhood Education (ECE) curriculum, the "Maarif Model," incorporates CSA prevention strategies through a structured framework. Using qualitative content analysis, the research investigates the inclusion of critical topics such as bodily autonomy, personal boundaries, and safe practices for children aged 36-72 months. A SWOT analysis sheds light on both the potential and the limitations of the curriculum’s design and implementation. While the Maarif Model offers a promising platform for fostering early intervention and resilience, significant challenges remain. Cultural resistance, inadequate teacher training, and inconsistent application threaten its efficacy. This study underscores the need for more substantial efforts to align the curriculum with Türkiye’s socio-cultural realities, emphasizing that without addressing systemic and societal barriers, the curriculum's impact may fall short of its transformative goals.
