Pedagogical Perspective (PedPer) (eISSN: 2822-4841) is an international, Türkiye-based, scholar-led academic journal in the field of education. The journal is committed to transparent, ethical, and inclusive scholarly publishing and aims to disseminate rigorous educational research to a global readership.
Diamond Open Access (No Fees)
PedPer follows a Diamond Open Access model: all published content is immediately and permanently available online free of charge to readers. No Article Processing Charges (APCs) or submission fees are requested from authors. The journal’s open access and licensing terms are publicly stated on the journal website to ensure transparency.
Governance: Separation of Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Roles
To strengthen editorial integrity, accountability, and independence, PedPer maintains a clear separation between the Publisher (or Publisher Representative) and the Editor-in-Chief. These roles are held by different, independent individuals with distinct responsibilities:

Responsible for the journal’s administrative and operational functions (e.g., platform management, archiving, workflow support, and sustainability). The Publisher does not participate in editorial decisions regarding acceptance, rejection, or content selection.

Holds full responsibility for the journal’s editorial policy, peer review process, and publication decisions. Editorial decisions are made solely on academic merit, relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, and compliance with publication ethics.
This governance structure helps prevent conflicts of interest and provides an additional safeguard for editorial independence, consistent with international best practices in scholarly publishing.
