Copyright Policy

Pedagogical Perspective (PedPer) provides open-access publication for all articles and materials published online, except where otherwise noted. Readers, researchers, and institutions are free to link, download, distribute, print, copy, and reproduce the published content in any medium for non-commercial purposes, provided that the original work is properly cited and the content is not modified in any way. All published content is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) License.

Commercial use, alteration of content, or republication for profit requires written permission from the journal administration.

Copyright Ownership

The author(s) retain the copyright of their published articles and materials in Pedagogical Perspective. However, the journal retains commercial rights to the published content.

By submitting a manuscript, authors acknowledge and agree that PedPer may:

  • distribute the published article,
  • publicly share the work,
  • communicate and archive the work in any medium and at any time,

in accordance with applicable Intellectual Property Law.

The author(s) grant PedPer Publishing an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to:

  • publish the article,
  • identify Pedagogical Perspective as the original publisher, and
  • include the article in digital archives, indexes, and preservation systems.

Use of Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for obtaining permissions for any third-party material (figures, tables, images, datasets, long text extracts, etc.) used in their manuscripts.

Authors must:

  • secure written permission from copyright holders if the material is not covered under fair use or similar exceptions;
  • provide documentation of permissions upon submission.
  • ensure that reused materials do not violate copyright law.

Limited use of short text extracts or small portions of material may be allowed for criticism or review without formal permission. Still, authors must confirm that such use complies with copyright regulations.

Failure to obtain proper permissions may result in the rejection of the manuscript or delays in publication.
