About the Journal
Pedagogical Perspective (PedPer) is an international, double-blind reviewing, non-profit, professional scientific journal. PedPer is a journal that accepts manuscripts related to pedagogy and education. PedPer takes an interdisciplinary approach to its general aim of promoting an open and continuing dialogue about the current educational issues and future conceptions of educational theory and practice in an international context. In order to achieve that aim, PedPer welcomes diverse disciplinary, theoretical, and methodological perspectives. Manuscripts should focus on critical pedagogy, multicultural education, new literacies, curriculum and instruction, cross-cultural issues in education, theory and practice in educational evaluation and policy, communication technologies in education, postmodernism, and globalization education. The manuscript accepted to PedPer will be given a DOI number and then published free of charge. PedPer is an international peer-reviewed journal published twice a year, in March and October.
Aim & Scope
Studies to be published in PedPer need to be carried out in any area of educational sciences. They can be carried out in any form of quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method research. Literature analyses, meta-analyses, meta-synthesis studies, and opinion papers can be sent to PedPer for review and publication. PedPer gives priority to research papers. Attention is paid to the issue that the number or quantity of review papers should not outweigh the number of research papers.
Being respectful to the ethical codes of academic research, copyrights, and human rights, PedPer accepts research papers, compilations, and opinion papers for peer-reviewing and publication in the areas of educational sciences listed below:
Publication Frequency
Pedagogical Perspective is a semi-annual journal published in March and October.
Publication Language
Pedagogical Perspective is published in two languages, English and Turkish. Authors may submit their manuscripts in either Turkish or English. However, for accepted manuscripts, authors are required to prepare full texts in both English and Turkish. This approach aims to enhance the journal’s accessibility to both national and international academic communities and to ensure that scientific knowledge reaches a wider audience.

Pedagogical Perspective is an international, double-blind, peer-reviewed, open access journal.
Digital Archiving and Preservation
Pedagogical Perspective is committed to the permanent preservation and accessibility of its published content. The journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides free and reliable digital archiving for open access journals. This network uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, a distributed preservation technology developed by Stanford University, to store multiple copies of journal content across various library nodes worldwide. This decentralized model ensures the integrity and availability of the original content, even in cases of data loss or system failure.
Besides LOCKSS, Pedagogical Perspective also plans to work with the CLOCKSS initiative, which keeps academic literature safe in a community-run archive that makes content freely available if a journal stops publishing or a publisher is not available.
Furthermore, all full-text articles published in the journal are archived in PDF format at the National Library of Türkiye, adding a layer of institutional and national preservation. Through these comprehensive measures, Pedagogical Perspective guarantees that its scholarly content remains securely preserved, openly accessible, and resilient against digital obsolescence over the long term.
