Quick Summary
This page provides all templates and forms used in the submission, review, and editorial processes of Pedagogical Perspective (PedPer). Authors, reviewers, and editors should download and use the relevant documents as described below.
1) Forms for Authors
The following forms and templates are required or available for authors at various stages of the submission and publication process:
- PedPer Manuscript Template (web based / paper based) — The standard formatting template for all manuscript submissions. Authors must prepare their anonymised manuscript file using this template. It includes the required structure, heading styles, font specifications, margin settings, and reference formatting. For detailed formatting and content requirements, see the Author Guidelines.
- Title Page Form (web based / paper based)(required) — A separate document to be submitted alongside the anonymised manuscript. The title page must include: full manuscript title; all author names, institutional affiliations, ORCID iDs, and email addresses; corresponding author identification; author contributions (CRediT format encouraged); funding acknowledgment; conflict of interest declaration; ethics approval statement (if applicable); and generative AI disclosure (if applicable). See Authorship & Contributorship for authorship requirements.
- PedPer Revision Form (when applicable) — Authors who receive a Minor Revision or Major Revision decision must use this form to provide a structured, point-by-point response to each reviewer and editor comment. The completed revision form should be submitted together with the revised manuscript. See the Peer Review Policy (Section 6) for revision guidelines and timelines.
- PedPer Article Withdrawal Form (when applicable) — Authors who wish to withdraw a manuscript after submission must complete this form with a clear justification and submit it to the editorial office. Withdrawal requests after peer review has begun are considered only in exceptional circumstances. See the Peer Review Policy (Section 12) for withdrawal conditions.
2) Forms for Reviewers
PedPer makes its review forms publicly available to ensure full transparency in the peer review process.
- Blank Review Form — The structured evaluation form used by external reviewers during the double-blind peer review process. The form reflects PedPer’s reviewer evaluation criteria, including originality and significance, methodological rigor, theoretical grounding, writing quality, ethical compliance, and implications for educational practice. See the Peer Review Policy (Section 4) for the full list of evaluation criteria.
3) Forms for Editors
- Section Editor Review Form — The form used by Section Editors to summarise reviewer recommendations and provide their editorial assessment to the Editor-in-Chief. This form supports the structured decision-making process described in the Peer Review Policy (Section 5).
4) Language Support
All accepted manuscripts undergo complimentary language proofreading via Paperpal by Editage prior to publication — at no cost to authors. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscripts professionally edited before submission to facilitate the review process. See the Language Policy for details.
