Çocuk Hakları Çocuklar İçin Ne Anlama Geliyor?: Çocuk Vatandaşlığı (Turkiye Örneği)

Özet

Çocuklar için vatandaşlık hak ve sorumluluklarına dair farkındalık kazanmaları ve bu konuda bilgi edinmeleri ile başlar. Bu bakış açısı temelinde bu araştırma çocukların haklarına ilişkin bakış açılarının belirlenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma, 5. sınıf öğrencilerinin çocuk haklarına dair farkındalıklarının ve görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada fenemenoloji deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubu, 2023-2024 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Bolu ili merkezinde öğrenim görmekte olan 133 (57 erkek ve 76 kız) öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak kelime işlem testinden ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formundan yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar, çocukların haklarının farkında olduklarını gösterirken, büyük çoğunluğunun katılım haklarından ziyade temel yaşam ve korunma haklarını dile getirmişlerdir. Sonuçlar, çocukların haklarının çoğunlukla okul ortamında öğrendiklerini, ailenin medyanın ise çocuk haklarının öğrenilmesinde diğer önemli kaynaklar olduğunu göstermektedir.
